Musica Antiqua St. Petersburg is Russia’s first period-instrument orchestra, founded in May of 2001. The orchestra is dedicated to the performance of 18th and 19th-century repertoire on period instruments and places special attention on the rediscovery and performance of neglected masterworks from imperial 18th-century Russia.
